Welcome to Sheree's Atelier.

 

My name is Sheree and I am the owner and designer for Sheree's Atelier.

 

I am passionate about fabric and creating lovely things with it.  And am excited to be sharing my creations here in this space.

 

All items are handmade in my home studio in Texas.  I take great care in crafting each item.

 

My background is in chemistry.  I have a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from MIT.  After working as an Industrial Chemist for several years, I decided to take time off from labwork to mother my new baby girl.  That is when my passion for sewing children's clothes began.  I'd been sewing my own clothes and accessories for years (since I was 12 years old), so sewing for my daughter was a must! 

 

I spend time in my studio nearly everyday!  And am looking forward to updating this space with new items on a very regular basis.
